AMS BACK TO CERN

April 26th, 2010



The first four trucks transporting the AMS-02 payload and its supporting hardware left ESTEC on April 22nd and arrived at CERN on April 26th. The fifth one, carrying the supporting gondola, is following.



The detector is now back in the integration room, in building 867 on the CERN Prévessin side, where it will undergo a system test before starting the integration activities to replace the superconducting magnet with the permanent magnet.
